Why Run or Walk for Ukraine

When you run or walk for New Forest For Ukraine, you’re doing more than achieving a personal goal – you’re standing in solidarity with a nation in crisis and helping to bring hope to those who need it most. The suffering knows no boundaries; it affects children, parents, and grandparents alike. Daily drone strikes and bombings continue to target civilians and crucial energy infrastructure, with regular power cuts.
We rely on public generosity and small grants. Every pound you raise makes a direct and tangible difference:

    £50 provides 50 cans of soup and 50 bars of soap
    £50 sponsors a pallet of aid
    £100 buys 4 camping stoves
    £300 buys a generator
    £2,500 covers the cost of an artic truck delivering 52 pallets (approximately 10 tonnes) of  humanitarian aid

Every pound raised goes directly to help us deliver aid to Ukraine. On race day, we’ll be there to cheer you on — and we’d love to thank you in person with a New
Forest For Ukraine bracelet and a special certificate of appreciation.
